With the weather finally warming up, and the sun not being so shy these past few weeks for all of us over here in Melbourne,  I recently have had the pleasure of styling a swimwear photoshoot for the super talented Lam Tran of Vampita Photography and the incredibly gorgeous Leah Johnsen of Scene Management.

These images captured are a result of an amazing team of creatives. I hope you like this series of shots. As for me, they are a source of motivation to get that summer body I've always wanted...

KATE

There are countless faces and names we love, one that has always been a favorite of mine, is Kate. Love her or hate her, one thing is clear: Kate is definitely an international household name. Even if she has been told at some point that she wasn't tall enough to make it into modeling, let alone becoming one of Fashion's greats. Kate has certainly proven that Agent very wrong...

I simply adore Kate's style. She is one of those rare ones that seems to be able to get away with just about everything, and still looking a million dollars. That goes beyond the fashion sense too, I must add... Forever glamorous, amazingly beautiful and impeccably dressed. though I must admit, I do personally prefer her sans Pete.

I find myself always finding some sort of an inspiration in Kate's style. These are just a very few of my favorite Kate shots over the years.

So for those Kate fans out there, this one is for you :)

A Forest Nymph

According to Greek, Latin and old French myths, nymphs are mythical maidens. They are young and beautiful creatures, fond of music, dancing and usually live amongst the trees, rivers and mountains. They are deemed magical Goddesses, with mystical powers humans do not posses...

Do you ever miss those wonderful childhood fantasies, of fairy Godmothers, places amongst the stars, wizards,  dragons, unicorns and being able to fly... Imagination is a most wonderful thing, it takes us to places we've never been before, back to treasured childhood memories and more. Without imagination, little would have been accomplished.

Last week we were lucky enough to spot the most stunning nymph in the form of Chantel Naef, and we think you'd agree.

SHEER DREAMERS

There is something about floating, sheer fabrics that always demand attention. Could it be way they make one feels...?  pretty, feminine and just like a true princess. Although the seasons are getting colder for those of us in Australia, I still just can't say no to a beautiful vintage sheer chiffon dress layered over  pretty stockings and tights. 

The past few weeks, we caught the last suns having so much fun shooting these photos for you with our friends Sheridan Dixon of flawlesshairandmakeup.com.au, Jacinta Rosewarne of jacintarosewarne.com, Kerty Tseros of kerrytseros.com.au, and Sara Centofanti-Morrison (MUA), along with models Emily and Chelsea. 

These photos are the work of a truly amazing and talented Photographer, Jacinta  Rosewarne, who at 18 is really on her way to conquer the Fashion Photography world. I will share more about Jacinta and her exquisite works in another post.

Daze amongst the Gardens...

Firstly, I must apologize for not having been able to write more often. There have been so many things to learn, get acquainted with, from looking after the eBay store, FaceBook, Twitter, and the Blog page, I'm constantly trying to find ways to make your visit to our little online store more fun and exciting.

Next month though, we have a lot more exciting news to share with you. Currently we do have an incredible collection ready to showcase, however, due to eBay's rules for new sellers (whereby we cannot sell/list more than 50 items per month and we well and truly exceed that) thus, we have not been able to list more. We have asked for an increase in how many items we can list, and have now been given the approval from eBay, a BIG yay! This means that in late March to early April, we will be able to bring you more of the beautiful pieces we know you have been waiting for.

On a more fun note, we recently had a collaborated shoot with our lovely friends from Jacinta Rosewarne Photography, Sheridan Dixon of Flawless Hair & MakeUp, and Yasmin Cadby Stylist along with the stunning Christina Delaney of Chadwicks Management, using Kiana Vintage's garments. It was an incredibly fun day spent at the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens, making new friends, exchanging ideas and makeup tips, and best of all, just being creative.

We have included a few favorites from the day to share with you. We hope you enjoy them.
